Once you have dried your filaments using our PrintDry filament dryer, how to do you store them to keep them safe and dry? Most of us have used zip lock plastic bags or large storage containers, and although these do work, the plastic bags quickly develop small rips or holes, and every time you open a large storage container to either take out a spool of filament or put one back in, the moisturized air seeps back into the dried filaments. Our PrintDry Storage Containers are made with a durable plastic that is see though so that you can see what type and amount of filament left on the spool without having to open the container. The lid is designed with silicone seal and 4 strong clamps that pull down the lid to the container to create a perfect seal. Not only does this help with keeping your printing filament dry and protected from re-absorbing moisture, it also makes your work space neater. When the containers are not in use, they stack inside each other taking up much less space. Sold in boxes of 6 only. Order quickly as the we have a limited number left.

KODAK Tough PLA Filament is as easy to print as regular PLA with a 9 times higher impact resistance and suitable to substitute ABS filament mechanical characteristics. It has been manufactured with the highest grade of Ingeo certified resins for industrial applications. Nature Works Ingeo filament has passed a defined set of tests to assure the highest quality and thus reliable and repeatable printing performance. KODAK Tough PLA has been engineered to deliver improved heat-resistance and high impact strength to 3D printed parts, achieving thermal and mechanical properties similar to ABS while offering an alternative to styrenic-based materials. With little to no warping or delamination, Tough PLA is more impact-resistant than standard PLA, and even has higher stiffness when compared to NYLON 6. Greater machinability than PLA allows more post-processing techniques, making it a great choice for tooling and manufacturing aids. KODAK Tough PLA filament provides excellent 3D printing characteristics such as precise detail, good adhesion to build plates, less warping or curling, and low odor. KODAK Tough PLA filament is optimized to work with KODAK PVA water soluble support material to create highly detailed parts with complex geometries. Maximum strength and heat resistance can be achieved through the post-print annealing procedure. In fact, this 3D printer filament is formulated to crystallize when annealed post-printing to improve its thermal performance and further enhance its impact properties. Post-annealing in the range of 110-120°C (in oven or hot-water bath) can be used to promote crystallization and improve the heat deflection temperature of the 3D printed part.
